This true-life spy thriller tells the story of the dangerous alliance formed by British businessman, Greville Wynne (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Soviet officer, Oleg Penkovsky (Merab Ninidze) during the Cold War. At the directive of MI-6 and a CIA operative (Rachel Brosnahan), the pair covertly work together in an effort to provide crucial intelligence about the Soviet nuclear programme in order to end the Cuban Missile Crisis.
