Sebastian Milaszewski trained at the Theatre School in Paris and the Film School in Prague where he gained a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, followed by a Master of Arts Degree. His graduation film was “COFFEE AND CIGARETTES”.
During his time at Film School, Sebastian shot over fifteen short films. His Degree film, “HOTEL”, won a prize at the Amsterdam Film Festival.
Sebastian has also shot many commercials and music videos including a ‘Gauloises Blondes’ commercial which was shortlisted at the 1999 Cannes Lions Awards; and an AIDS commercial which was a finalist in the Cresta Awards. Sebastian won the BTAA Award for Best Cinematography 2005, the CLIO Award for Best Cinematography 2005 and was a D & AD Finalist for Best Cinematography for his work on Peter Thwaites’ AUDI commercial.
He is fluent in English, Polish, French and Czech.
